State Senator Jeff Danielson takes the oath of office of the Iowa Senate on Monday, January 12, the first day of the 2009 session of the Iowa Legislature. He expects the session will focus on managing a tight state budget while continuing to expand Iowa’s renewable energy economy and rebuilding flood damaged communities.
